BWS Continues to Work on Reservoir in the Waialae Iki Area

HONOLULU – Board of Water Supply (BWS) continues to work on cleaning a reservoir in the Waialae Iki area that is expected to take until the end of the week. During this period we ask the residents of the following streets to use water for essential needs only (cooking, drinking and hygiene): Kalaniiki Ridge, Laukahi Street from Laamia Street to Kuhilani street, and Palaole Place. Work to clean the reservoir will also require the continued use of fire pumpers and other equipment to maintain water service to all customers in the area. Streets that will be impacted by noise are Laukahi and Kuhilani; and Kaimoku Place.

BWS apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates the community’s patience while the work is being done. Questions and comments may be directed to the BWS 24-7 trouble line at 748-5000 extension 1.
