2016 Water Conservation Week Poster and Poetry Contests

The BWS received more than 1,500 posters and 450 poems for the 2016 Water Conservation Week Poster and Poetry Contests. Winners were selected based on the accuracy of information, originality, creativity, and artistic or poetic ability, based on the student’s age, to convey this year’s contest theme, "Pure Water – There Is No Substitute."

2015 Water Conservation Week Poster and Poetry Contests

Congratulations to the 42 Oahu students who were honored for their work in the 2015 Water Conservation Week Poster and Poetry Contests. More than 1,400 posters and 275 poems were submitted. Winners were selected based on the accuracy of information, originality, creativity, and artistic or poetic ability, based on the student's age, to convey this year's contest theme, "Water Matters-- Conserve It."

2014 Water Conservation Week Poster and Poetry Contests

Forty-two students representing schools and programs throughout Oahu were recognized for their work in the 2014 Water Conservation Week Poster and Poetry Contests. The winning entries were chosen from more than 1,300 posters and 200 poems submitted by students from 57 public and private schools, afterschool programs, student enrichment programs, and homeschooled students across the island.
