Service Lateral Replacements in the Pālolo Area

HONOLULU – Integrated Construction, Inc., the Board of Water Supply’s (BWS) contractor for a project to replace 232 water service laterals for customers in Pālolo is scheduled to begin work on or after June 8, 2026. Service laterals are the pipes that connect the water main under the street to the water meters serving each home.

This project will improve water service reliability for residents in the following areas:

  • Pālolo Avenue from Waiʻalae Avenue to Kilihune Place
  • Kekona Place
  • Kēhau Place
  • ʻĀhinahina Place
  • two unnamed streets on the ʻEwa side of Pālolo Avenue
  • unnamed street on the Diamond Head side of Pālolo Avenue
  • Lamaloa Place
  • Kānekopa Place
  • Wiliama Place
  • Pālolo Terrace
  • Uʻilani Place
  • Hoanoho Place
  • Paliʻāhina Place
  • Kilihune Place

Road work will occur Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and will involve lane closures at various locations throughout the work area. Area residents and motorists are advised to expect delays during construction hours. Based on the current schedule, this project will be completed in the second quarter of 2027.
