This fun workshop involves repurposing a recycled drawer to create a garden nook. You can conveniently display plants in your garden nook on a wall just outside your kitchen door for harvesting herbs or as a stand-alone personalized garden decoration! You’ll learn new skills as we will be using an electric drill and acrylic paint. Participants should wear covered shoes, bring an apron, safety goggles, Phillips screw driver and have the option of packing a meal and/or snack with beverage. During the first session we will be prepping drawer, applying a base coat, tracing stencils and starting to paint in designs. During the second session of the workshop participants will complete any painting and apply 2 coats of varnish. Participants must attend first session to attend second session.

Advanced registration is required. Registration opens on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, and closes at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2019, or when all spaces are filled.
