The third of our “Paint in the Garden,” Series this workshop season, is a fun-filled, NO PAINTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED workshop! All participants receive step by step instructions from start to finish to create their very own cactus. This very drought tolerant plant can help reduce outdoor water consumption when used in your landscape. This hands-on workshop is offered by the Board of Water Supply (BWS), Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden (FOHXG) and Erika Brown, member of FOHXG.

The Creating Cactus Art Workshop is for ages 10 years old and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants will not only learn to paint this cactus, they will learn about its versatility and how using it in their landscape or container garden will help reduce outdoor water consumption.
