Details

Spiral gardens use gravity, a worm tower, and natural rainfall to maintain the plants within them. They create a diverse microclimate that enhances the growth of unthirsty herbs and plants. While Keyhole gardens use a built-in well to water their plants. Add to these gardens the understanding of the soil food web and you can have a very healthy garden with an abundant yield all in a small space. Healthy plants require less water and maintenance. Keyhole and Spiral gardens are constructed using the “lasagna” method that re-collects and nourishes the soil, making it more productive than a conventional garden. For those who will participate in the construction of the gardens, please dress appropriately, apply sunscreen, bring a shade hat, bug repellent, water, and lunch.
