Service Lateral Replacement in Hawaiʻi Kai
Project Overview
The Board of Water Supply is designing a service lateral replacement project in the following areas of Hawaiʻi Kai:
- ʻĀinahou Street
- Kūkuaū Place
- Kaiolohia Place
- Kaiolohia Way
As a result, ControlPoint Surveying, Inc., will be conducting surveys of streets, sidewalks, and areas surrounding water meters beginning on or after July 2, 2025. Service laterals are the pipes that connect the water main under the street to the water meters serving each home. This project will improve water service reliability for residents in the construction area.
