Kalāwahine Reservoir Project Terminated
On November 17, 2022, BWS Manager and Chief Engineer, Ernest Y.W. Lau terminated the Kalāwahine Reservoir Project slated to be built off of Kapahu St in Papakōlea, Honolulu, Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi.

News Release: The Board of Water Supply (BWS) is scheduled to restart construction on June 5, 2023, for the “Kalawahine 180 2.0 MG Reservoir Connecting Pipelines Project.” Please note that the Kalawahine Reservoir Project has been canceled, and only the pipeline is being installed.
