Jeffrey Laupola was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Honolulu Board of Water Supply in October 2025.
Born and raised on Oʻahu, Laupola graduated from Punahou School before attending the United States Naval Academy. He served 11 years in the U.S. Navy as an Intelligence Officer, with assignments focused on the Indo-Pacific, and later worked at Goldman Sachs as an investment banker in New York City before returning home to Hawaiʻi.
Laupola is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Nēnē Ventures, a Honolulu-based early-stage venture firm focused on defense technology and dual-use companies serving the Indo-Pacific. His community service includes serving as a board member for the non-profit Housing Hawaiʻi’s Future and as an Area Coordinator for Blue and Gold Officers across the Pacific for the U.S. Naval Academy Admissions department.
Laupola holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School.
