BWS Has Successful Sale of Bonds
News Release: On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, the Board of Water Supply successfully sold its $72,815,000 of Water System Revenue Bonds, Series 2024 (Sustainability Bonds). Proceeds from the bonds will be used to finance new projects and conduct repair and maintenance of the water system as well as to refund outstanding bonds for economic savings.

BWS Completes Bond Sale
News Release: On January 6, 2014, the Board of Water Supply (BWS) announced that it recently issued $144,985,000 in water system revenue bonds. The Series 2014A and Series 2014B bonds were sold, paying a rate of 3.36 percent. As a result, the BWS saved more than $13M in interest.

News Release: On March 14, 2012, the Board of Water Supply (BWS) announced that it has completed an $85.2 million bond issue on its Water Revenue Refunding Bonds, which will result in an expected net savings of about $7.15 million over the life of the bonds.

BWS Bond Rating Affirmed at Aa2, AA+ with Stable Outlooks
News Release: On March 12, 2012, the Board of Water Supply announced that Moody's Investors Service and Fitch Ratings, which establish bond ratings used when municipalities borrow money, recently affirmed the BWS bond rating at Aa2 and AA+, respectively, maintaining a “stable outlook” in both cases.
