- Job Title: Air Conditioning Mechanic
Duties: Conducts regular visual inspections and operational tests; independently maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls, and operates a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment for all BWS corporation/base yards and pumping facilities.
- Job Title: Assistant Storekeeper
The position assists in the operation of a storeroom by receiving, counting, inspecting, storing, issuing, loading, unloading materials, supplies, water maters, supplies, pipes, fittings, etc.
- Job Title: Data Processing Systems Analyst II
Designs, configures, develops, tests and implements systems and procedures in support of Board of Water Supply enterprise systems.
Must have two years of experience as a system analyst. Experience in supporting IBM Maximo, Oracle CC&B, JD Edwards, Kronos application systems, Microsoft SQL Server, Cobol, or Java is preferred, but not required.
- Job Title: Electrician
Duties: Responsible for building electrical systems, equipment and appurtenant fixtures for all BWS corporation/base yards and pumping facilities. Conducts regular visual inspections and operational tests; installs, maintains, and repairs the building electrical components.
- Job Title: Environmental Compliance Specialist
Plans, determines and enforces the department’s water system compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations related to the elimination and prevention of environmental pollution.
- Job Title: Information Systems Analyst or Trainee.
Assists in designing, analyzing, and application of software for the Board of Water Supply (BWS) enterprise systems; that include JD Edwards ERP, Maximo Asset and Work Management, Kronos Time and Attendance and Oracle Customer Care and Billing Systems.
- Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist
Duties: Assists in the implementation, management and maintenance of the IT virtualization infrastructure systems, servers, Storage Area Network (SAN), and Cloud and co-location services. Deploys and maintains island wide systems equipment. Participate in projects and resource scheduling.
- Job Title: Meter Reader I
Duties: Collects accurate and timely water consumption data from the Board of Water Supply customers on an assigned route. Returns to site of unread meters to locate meters and obtain meter readings visually or by a hand-held device. Downloads daily route information to the computer.
- Job Title: Phone Center Representative
Provide various customer service, such as: answer phone calls from customers, route calls and/or take messages as an operator; process credit card payment of the water bills; manually accept customers’ requests to start and/or stop water services; and provide various clerical work support for all areas of the Customer Care Division.
- Job Title: Secretary III
The position provides secretarial and administrative assistance to the Program Administrator of the Customer Care Division and the Assistant Program Administrator with overseeing the administrative affairs of the division, exercising discretion and judgment.
- Job Title Water Quality Assurance Specialist
Plans, coordinates, implements, monitors and administers a comprehensive drinking water laboratory quality assurance program.
