Pipe Hanger Replacement on Keolu Drive Bridge in Kailua


HONOLULU – Starting November 5, Board of Water Supply (BWS) contractor, Hawaii Works, Inc., is scheduled to begin replacing the existing pipe hangers for the 16-inch water main on Keolu Drive Bridge in Kailua. The bridge is located on Keolu Drive between Wanaao Road and Akumu Street. The project is needed to help ensure water service reliability for customers in the area.

Working hours for the project will be Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Road closures, if needed, will occur during the indicated working hours.  Motorists traveling near the construction site are asked to please exercise caution and to abide by posted signs.
