UPDATED: NO PARKING AT KAILUA BEACH PARK
BOAT RAMP ON NOVEMBER 23

HONOLULU –  The contractor for the Board of Water Supply’s (BWS) Lanikai Water System Improvements, Part II, project, will be closing the boat ramp parking lot at Kailua Beach Park on Tuesday, November 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The parking lot closure is necessary for the contractor to connect the new main to the water system as part of the ongoing project. As a result of this work residents on Alala Road will experience a planned water outage from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

This planned work is subject to change. As a reminder to motorists, please expect traffic delays from lane closures at various locations in the vicinity of Kailua Beach Park, Mondays through Fridays, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except for observed State holidays.

The BWS appreciates the community’s patience and kokua as this important project is completed. The work will result in a more resilient water system serving the area.

Questions and comments may be directed to the BWS Construction Branch at (808) 748-5730 or by emailing contactus@hbws.org.
