Akanoho Place 8-Inch Water Main Project

HONOLULU – Integrated Construction, Inc., the Board of Water Supply’s (BWS) contractor for the Akanoho Place 8-Inch Water Main project in Pupukea is working to replace approximately 2,900 feet of 8-inch and 4-inch water mains, and approximately 110 feet of 6-inch water mains. The water mains were originally installed in the 1960s. The renewal of the water system will improve water service reliability for customers in the area.

Road work will occur Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and will involve lane closures at various locations throughout the work area. Area residents and motorists are advised to expect delays during construction hours. Based on the current schedule, this project will be completed in the first quarter of 2022. Questions and comments may be directed to the BWS Construction Branch at 748-5730 or by emailing contactus@hbws.org.
