Xeric Mini Zen Garden

Halawa Xeriscape Garden Workshop

What

Create a small area of serenity and nature on your countertop that incorporates xeric plants. This hands-on workshop is sponsored by the Board of Water Supply (BWS) and Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden (FOHXG) and will have participants assemble their your very own desktop xeric contemporary mini zen garden to help evoke feelings of calmness and peace.

Cost

$20 for general public and Friends of Halawa membership “Friend” level
$15 for supporting, corporate and lifetime memberships
We accept cash, check, and most major credit cards.

Details

All supplies will be provided. Your mini zen garden will help you clear your mind and reflect on your thoughts as you create swirling patterns in the sand and rearrange stones. You will also receive a few tips on growing succulents indoors that require less maintenance.

Advanced registration is required. Registration opens on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, and closes at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2020, or when all spaces are filled.
