A hands-on workshop offered by the Board of Water Supply (BWS) and Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden (FOHXG) will show you how to create a cute owl planter.

$8 for general public and Friends of Halawa membership “Friend” level
$3 for supporting, corporate and lifetime memberships
Participants must bring their own milk jug.
We accept cash and check.

Details

You’ll enjoy recycling a plastic milk jug into a whimsical owl planter. With an ounce of creativity, a little bit of paint, some planting soil, and a drought tolerant plant, participants can design artful containers that are practical and simple to create. You’ll also learn a few tips for planting succulents in containers. Did you know that succulents don’t require a lot of water to survive?

Advanced registration is required. Registration opens on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, and closes at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2019, or when all spaces are filled.
