DETAILS

The Halawa Xeriscape Garden will be closed to the public on Wednesday,  October 9, 2019. The Seed of the Month will not be available for pick up on that date. The garden will be open to the public during normal hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on all other Wednesdays and Saturdays in the month of October where the community may visit the garden to enjoy a self-guided tour.

The Halawa Xeriscape Garden is a three-acre demonstration garden that displays a series of unthirsty, water-conserving plants in a visually attractive garden. The BWS opened the garden to the public in September 1989 as a way to educate Oahu residents on ways to save water outdoors in lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas.
