HONOLULU – Integrated Construction, Inc., the Board of Water Supply’s (BWS) contractor for the Wahiawa Water System Improvements, Part 1A, project is scheduled to begin work on September 17. The renewal of the water system will improve water service reliability for customers in the area.
This project will replace approximately 3,050 feet of 12-inch mains, 8,500 feet of 8-inch and 6-inch mains, and 1,065 feet of 4-inch mains, installed from the 1930s to 1960s.
The work will affect the following areas:
Road closures will occur Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at various locations throughout the work area. Area residents and motorists are advised to expect delays and use alternate routes during construction hours. Based on the current schedule, this project will be completed in the second quarter of 2020.
