An informational and hands-on workshop offered by the Board of Water Supply (BWS) and Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden (FOHXG) presents the basics of succulent container gardening.

$5 for general public and Friends of Halawa membership “Friend” level
Free for supporting, corporate and lifetime memberships

Details

Brian and Mhel Cyr, Emeritus Master Gardeners, will teach participants the basics of growing succulents including: introduction to different types of succulents, selecting the right container and potting mixes, pest control, fertilizers, and maintaining adequate hydration. Each participant will propagate one take-home succulent.

Register

Advanced registration is required. Registration opens on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, and closes at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017, or when all spaces are filled. Call (808) 748-5315 or email workshops@hbws.org to register. BWS security requires full name and address of all participants.
