Details

Do you have an Aquaponic system that is not operating efficiently? Or has a previous failure discouraged you from starting a new system? Then the Advanced Aquaponics workshop is for you – the informative presentation will offer tips and tricks on making these water-saving systems flourish!

Led by staff members of the HappyPonics Farm, workshop participants will discover how to identify problems early on and acquire techniques to correct them. They will also learn about the role of healthy bacteria in your Aquaponics system, how to maintain water quality and clarity, and the importance of pH, ammonia, and nutrient levels. Methods for determining the appropriate amount and types of fish for your system and how to maintain an optimal marine environment will also be discussed.

This workshop is geared towards individuals who have an aquaponic system or have owned one in the past. Participants are invited to share their personal experiences and solutions in maintaining a healthy aquaponic system.
