Wahiawa Water System Improvements, Part IV Project

HONOLULU – Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Inc., the Board of Water Supply’s (BWS) contractor for the Wahiawa Water System Improvements, Part IV project is scheduled to begin work on after April 3, 2023. The renewal of the water system will improve water service reliability and fire protection for customers in the area.

The project will install approximately 1,400 feet of 16-inch water mains, 1,400 feet of 12-inch water mains and 13,300 feet of 8-inch mains.

The work will affect the following areas:

  • Glen Avenue from Kellog St to fire hydrant C00379 (SW Corner of Wahiawa Elementary School)
  • Nakula Street from 1684 Nakula Street to end
  • Glen Avenue from Eames Street to Glenview Place
  • Royal Palm Drive from Nichols Street to Glen Avenue
  • Turner Street from Glen Avenue to Eames Street
  • Glenview Place from Glen Avenue to end
  • Wonderview Place from Glenview Place to end

Working hours for the project will be Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and will involve lane closures at various locations throughout the work area. Area residents and motorists are advised to expect delays.
