Kalawahine 180 2.0 MG Reservoir Connecting Pipelines Project

HONOLULU – FV Coluccio Construction Company, Inc., the Board of Water Supply’s (BWS) contractor for the Kalawahine 180 2.0 MG Reservoir Connecting Pipelines project is rescheduled to begin work on or after October 10, 2022.KALAWAHINE-180-RESERVOIR-PIPELINE.jpg

The project will install approximately 4,900 feet of new 24-inch water mains along Pensacola Street from Kinau Street to Nehoa Street, along Auwaiolimu Street from Nehoa Street to Anianiku Street, and along Anianiku Street from Auwaiolimu Street to fire hydrant #M02678.

The construction of this 24-inch water main will improve water system performance and reliability. It will also assist in meeting domestic fire protection needs.

Road work will occur Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and will involve lane closures at various locations throughout the work area. Area residents and motorists are advised to expect delays during construction hours. Based on the current schedule, this project will be completed in the third quarter of 2024.
