Lane Closures on Beretania Street Between Punahou Street and Waiau Place

HONOLULU – Board of Water Supply (BWS) contractor Integrated Construction, Inc., is scheduled to investigate site conditions for an upcoming project on Beretania Street on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The investigation will result in the closure of two mauka lanes of Beretania Street between Punahou Street and Waiau Place, including the Diamond Head left turn lane onto Beretania Street from Kalakaua Avenue.

This work is part of an upcoming project that will occur in early 2022 to remove a leaking valve on a 42-inch transmission main on Beretania Street near the Kalakaua Avenue intersection.

Area residents and motorists are advised to expect delays during the indicated hours. Questions and comments may be directed to the BWS Construction Branch at 748-5730 or by emailing contactus@hbws.org.
