Create custom made critter planters!  A hands-on workshop offered by the Board of Water Supply (BWS) and Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden (FOHXG) will show you how to create a xeric critter planter out of a recycled 2-liter bottle.

$10 for general public and Friends of Halawa membership “Friend” level

Details

This hands-on workshop involves crafting a 2-liter plastic bottle to look like a hedgehog or other outdoor critter. With a bit of creativity, participants can fashion recycled containers that are practical, fun to use in your garden and simple to create. You will also learn a few hints on how to care for your container plants.

Advanced registration is required. Registration opens on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, and closes at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020, or when all spaces are filled. Call (808) 748-5315 or email workshops@hbws.org to register.
