Hawaii Kai Conservation Request is Lifted

Valve repair complete and it is no longer needed

HONOLULU – Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews have completed repair to the leaky valve on a 36-inch transmission main on Kalanianaole Hwy. near the Hawaii Kai Golf Course, and fully restored water service to the main. Residents from Keahole St. up until the Hawaii Kai Golf Course are no longer being asked to conserve water and may resume normal use.

The BWS thanks the Hawaii Kai community for their help to reduce area water demand, as well as their patience and understanding, while crews worked to repair the valve on the transmission main and bring the main back online.
