BWS Service Restored in Kalani Iki and Waialae Iki

HONOLULU – Board of Water Supply (BWS) has restored water service to the Kalani Iki and lower Waialae Iki areas. Customers should run their taps for a few minutes before using the water for drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth.

BWS will still need to flush the water from the reservoir serving the community and while service has been restored, they are asking residents to conserve and only use water for essential needs. This reservoir is now shut off from supplying water to the area during this process which will require the continued use of fire pumpers and other equipment. BWS apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates the community’s patience while the work is being done.

Questions and comments may be directed to the BWS 24-7 trouble line at 748-5000 extension 1.
