HONOLULU – Beginning January 8, 2020, Board of Water Supply (BWS) contractor, MEI Corporation, will resume construction activities on Pensacola Street, between Young Street and Kinau Street. Barring schedule changes due to weather conditions, area motorists should anticipate significant traffic delays and use alternate routes during the following dates and times:

January 8-10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  • Repaving the trenched portions of roadway.

January 21-27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This road work is part of the final phases of the water system improvement project on Pensacola Street, from Young Street to Kinau Street.
