2019 calendar cover

Contest Deadline: Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 4:30 p.m.

The Honolulu Board of Water Supply (BWS) is now accepting entries for its 2020 Water Conservation Week Poster and Poetry Contests.

This year’s contest theme is “Creating a Sustainable Water Future”. Student art and poetry should creatively express their understanding and appreciation of clean, fresh drinking water as one of our most valuable resources and that we all share responsibility to support efforts to protect our precious and finite water supply for generations to come.

  • The 42nd annual Poster Contest is open to students in grades Kindergarten to 6.
  • The 12th annual Poetry Contest is open to students in grades 7 to 12.

These annual contests promote awareness of our island’s limited drinking water supply and encourage Oahu’s youth to become more water-efficient.

For more information, contact the BWS Communications Office at 748-5041 or contactus@hbws.org with questions.
