The Honolulu Board of Water Supply (BWS) will be issuing a Request for Proposal(s) to redevelop a portion of its Beretania Complex. The purpose of this action is to provide a revenue stream for BWS.
MARCH 19, 2019 – As part of a noise survey for the Beretania Complex Redevelopment Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), an acoustics consultant installed equipment in the employee parking lot above the Engineering Building to collect traffic noise in the area. This equipment, which will remain in place through Monday, March 25, is located between two stalls and will not impact parking availability.
The Board of Water Supply (BWS) is in the process of preparing a Request for Proposal to redevelop a portion of its Beretania Complex, with the purpose of developing an alternative revenue stream. Preparation of an EIS is part of this process.
NOVEMBER 28, 2018 – The BWS is in the process of preparing an environmental impact statement (EIS) for the Beretania Complex Redevelopment project. The public will be able to comment on and provide input to the EIS through the community outreach and public commentary period that is part of the EIS process.:
