Board of Water Supply (BWS) Board Meetings are scheduled for the fourth Monday of each month at 2:00 p.m., in the Board Room on the third floor of the BWS Public Service Building at 630 South Beretania Street, unless otherwise noted. Please contact the Board Secretary at (808) 748-5172 for the latest information.
Meeting notices are posted approximately one week prior to the date of the meeting. 2020 board notices will include links to submittals and supporting documents for downloading. In regularly scheduled Board meetings, discussions are recorded and later transcribed. All meeting minutes must be approved at the subsequent Board meeting. These minutes will be posted online once approved.
Pursuant to the Fifteenth Supplementary Proclamation issued by Governor David Y. Ige on Monday, November 16, 2020, related to the COVID-19 emergency, in order to allow public participation in a manner consistent with social distancing practices, the following procedures are in effect for the meeting. Some Board members may be participating in the meeting by interactive conference technology from remote locations.
Written testimony will be accepted by mail, fax, email or online form submission in advance no later than 12:00 PM on the day of the meeting. Testimony during a meeting will be accepted by phone; callers will be placed in a queue and brought up to testify one at a time. Testimony is limited to two (2) minutes and shall be presented by the registered speaker only. No in-person testimony will be accepted.

Due to Hurricane Douglas, City offices were closed on Monday, July 27, 2020. The July regular board meeting scheduled that day for the BWS Board of Directors was cancelled. The next regular board meeting took place on Monday, August 24, 2020.
Meetings of the BWS Board of Directors and public hearings from 2020 are available on demand.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic and the Stay at Home / Work from Home orders, the March 2020 board meeting was not recorded for later viewing on Olelo. The following version was shared via Facebook Live.
