HXG Workshop: Xeric Holiday Wreath

xeric holiday wreath workshopWith the festive holiday season rounding the corner, the Board of Water Supply (BWS) and Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden (FOHXG) will offer two can’t-miss xeric holiday wreath-making classes. Participants will learn how less-thirsty, xeriscape plants can be used to create colorful and festive holiday decorations.

$5 for general public and Friends of Halawa membership “Friend” level
Free for supporting, corporate and lifetime memberships
We accept cash and checks.

Details

All participants should bring the following items: one round wreath form (straw-type, not foam, and no larger than 12-inch diameter), 50-80 floral “U” pins, clippers, containers to hold wreath materials (i.e. soda box), and any kind of ribbons or holiday embellishments you would like to decorate your wreath.

Registration is full and closed as of October 31, 2017. 

Advanced registration is required. Registration begins on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, and closes at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2017, or when all spaces are filled. Call (808) 748-5315 or email workshops@hbws.org to register. BWS security requires full name and address of all participants.
