Neem and Moringa Oleifera (Kalamungay) are drought tolerant needing only a minimal amount of water to survive. With the right preparation most parts of the tree can be used to produce things like shampoo, nutrient rich food, glue, and even double as beautiful shade trees in your yard!
Each tree is unique in itself and during the workshop, we will discuss what those attributes are. We will identify commonalities as well as differences between these trees, and discuss their many uses and how you can incorporate these trees and their byproduct into your conservation efforts, lives and landscapes, all while minimizing outdoor water consumption. We will share Moringa Soup and Neem Tea recipes and you may sample Neem tea and if Moringa is in season we may also have a tasty tidbit for participants to try.
Advanced registration is required. Registration opens on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, and closes at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017, or when all spaces are filled. Call (808) 748-5315 or email email@example.com to register. BWS security requires full name and address of all participants.
