HXG Workshop: Crochet Succulents
A hands-on workshop offered by the Board of Water Supply (BWS) and Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden (FOHXG) will teach you how to make either a crochet cactus or succulent potted plant. These realistic imitations are a perfect addition to your household or office décor. The best part about owning a faux cactus or succulent is that they don’t need any watering, bugs won’t bother them and all you have to do is find a nice spot to display them. You’ll be surprised at how many people will need a closer look to determine if these are real or not!

Your crochet succulent kit will consist of a crochet needle, green and brown yarn and a mini terracotta pot. You will be able to customize your creation by adding flowers or eyelash yarn giving it a more natural look. You can even adorn your finished product with sewing pins and it will double as a faux cactus and pin cushion.
Advanced registration is required. Registration begins on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, and closes at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2017, or when all spaces are filled. Call (808) 748-5315 or email email@example.com to register. BWS security requires full name and address of all participants.
