workshop wili leiCreate your very own long lasting wili lei using xeric succulents. A hands-on workshop offered by The Board of Water Supply (BWS) and Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden (FOHXG) will have you making a stunning and long lasting wili lei just in time for May Day.

Details

Wili is a lei making technique that wraps materials in to the lei as opposed to the haku style that braids materials in to the lei. Participants will learn how to arrange and maintain hardy succulents to make a wili lei for enjoyment long after May Day! Prior experience in wili lei making is helpful. Please bring garden clippers, all other supplies will be provided.

Advanced registration is required. Registration opens on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, and closes at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017, or when all spaces are filled.
