Board of Water Supply to Participate in the BIA-Hawaii Building and Remodeling Show 2017

BWS looks to increase awareness of conservation and leak detection at annual show

HONOLULU – After an absence of several years, The Board of Water Supply (BWS) will be participating as a vendor at the BIA-Hawaii Home Building and Remodeling Show this weekend at the Neal Blaisdell Center.

BWS spokesperson Kathleen Pahinui said, “We are very excited to be back at the BIA show. It is a great audience for us to share information on conservation and leak detection. A homeowner can significantly decrease their water bill with low flow shower heads and toilets, planting landscape that needs little water and just making sure their water system is in good shape and not leaking.”

“We want to thank our partner, the City and County of Honolulu Department of Facilities Maintenance for inviting us to share their booth. It really helps when government agencies share resources – we maximize our limited budgets for the benefit of the public and reach larger audiences with our messages.”

At the show, BWS will have information on leak detection, ways to conserve water, xeric plants, and rain barrel catchment systems.

The Home Building and Remodeling Show hours at the Neal Blaisdell Center are:
