These zones are general guidelines to help you select the right type of Hawaiian plant to use in the landscape on O'ahu.  Select a plant category from the list on the right side of the map and a list of appropriate plants will be displayed with scientific name, common/Hawaiian name and it's growing habit.  Some plants may be listed in more than one zone and can tolerate various growing conditions.
